It's giving Tuesday -- The perfect day to share an event that we worked on this spring for a very special organization - Beyond Differences
Beyond Differences is a national organization singularly focused on ending social isolation. It was founded in the Bay Area in memory of Lili Rachel Smith. Today it's innovative programs can be found in middle schools nationwide.
We were tasked with helping bring these special programs to life at a very special event to help raise awareness about social isolation and to highlight the work and accomplishments of this amazing organization.
Guests were greeted by teen board members
Throughout the event attendees were asked to interact on their social accounts by using the event hashtag #socialreducx.
Strike a pose and be the change!
The organization's accomplishments were highlighted on an interactive museum wall.
To learn more about Beyond Differences' 3 national curriculums, guests were asked to participate in interactive experiences.
The first stop was the Know Your Classmates ball pit, where guests were prompted to hop in the pit and get to know each other. What they learned was then added to the REDUX mural wall.
Next stop -- the No One Eats Alone lunchroom -- where our "lunch lady" Elaine served up special conversation starter prompts and a healthy side of humor!
After a getting to know you session guests made a pledge to share on the No One Eats Alone Tree.
Off to the Be Kind Online station were guests could view the interactive #socialredux wall -- and learn what it's like to feel included.
Saving the best for last -- attendees entered the virtual reality room to participate in Lili's story and learn first hand how Beyond Differences began in memory of one very special young lady.
Please join Flair on this Giving Tuesday and support Beyond Differences.
